This is a Greco SG Standard. Based on the serial number, it was manufactured in 1990, and according to the included warranty card the model is SS-65 (the warranty card itself is also a valuable item).
Normally, guitars from this period feature the so-called “cut-O” Greco logo, but this one instead has the later, thicker block-style logo, making it a rare transitional example.
Mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The pickups show no signs of replacement and appear to be the original SCREAMIN humbuckers. The logo, headstock inlays, and fingerboard inlays are believed to be made of white mother-of-pearl.
The white finish is both rare and highly sought after, so this will appeal to collectors and players alike. Don’t miss it!
Weight: approx. 2.9 kg
As it is around 35 years old, it shows many cosmetic signs of use as pictured. There is an additional strap pin hole, finish cracking at the neck joint, and noticeable finish fading/yellowing. However, the electronics function properly, and the guitar has been fully cleaned and given a basic setup, so it is ready to play as-is.
Please understand this is a vintage used instrument and purchase accordingly.
Accessories include a non-original soft case and the original period warranty card.
Please note that this is a used item.
There are no issues with its current functionality, but please understand that you may need to make further adjustments after purchase to suit your preferences.
Be sure to review the photos and description carefully before placing a bid.
