This is a rare 2015 Fender Classic 50s Lacquer Edition Stratocaster with a medium relic finish. It is all original except for a few minor aftermarket upgrades detailed below.

The body is Alder with a tasteful medium relic Candy Apple Red nitro finish. The routed cavities have been covered and grounded with copper shielding tape to reduce unwanted RF noise. It is fitted with it's original hardware and trem except for a proper 50s spec tremolo arm upgrade.

The aged pickguard assembly is loaded with the original stock Classic 50s Alnico 5 pickups and tone circuit with an added Fralin treble bleed mod on the Volume pot and Fralin metal base plate on the bridge pickup. The baseplate adds power and bass to the bridge pickup. This modification provides a slight boost in volume and power when installed. You’ll notice more low-mid frequencies usually lacking on vintage bridge pickups.

The neck is a 21 fret 1pc Maple with an aged tint relic nitro finish. It features a vintage 7.25" fretboard radius, stock synthetic bone nut and soft V back contour. It is fitted with the original vintage tuners and string tree. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished and this neck plays incredibly well. It is fast, smooth and can handle big bends without buzzing or fretting out.

The guitar weighs 8.2 lbs and is strung with David Gilmour signature GHS Boomers 10-48 gauge strings with the tremolo floating. Also included is the new Fender Deluxe padded gigbag shown. Will ship insured ground and require a signature for delivery.
