The J-50 is the big brother to the J-45 with the rumor being, Gibson used higher quality woods on their natural topped guitars. This model was made during the cringe era of the plastic bridge, however some would argue that this lightens the top and adds some depth to the vibrations. Whatever it is, this guitar is all original (except for the tuning machines which have apparently been switched out a couple time and the headstock is the only place showing moderate wear), no cracks, and plays and sounds like a dream. Anyone looking for the quintessential compressed Gibson sound on a jumbo sized guitar, this is it. Moderate playwear, setup superbly and comes w/ modern HSC.
