Up for grabs is an awesome, early-production June 1982 Boss BF-2 Flanger, made in Japan. This is the highly desirable Black Label version, housing the legendary analog Panasonic MN3207 bucket-brigade chip for that ultra-lush, warm 80s modulation.
This pedal is the perfect "Player's Grade" piece—it looks fantastic on a pedalboard but has the honest wear of a vintage tool that was loved and used.
Condition Notes:
- Cosmetic (Face & Sides): Very clean condition for its age! The purple paint and text on the face and sides are in great shape with only minor edge nicks and light wear.
- Cosmetic (Bottom Plate): The bottom rubber pad is cracking, and has significant old adhesive and Velcro residue left over from living on a vintage gigging pedalboard. The original black label is still fully attached and legible and has no residue.
- Internal: The battery compartment is exceptionally clean, complete with the original serial number sticker (201300) and intact battery snap.
- Functional: 100% operational. Knobs turn smoothly, the switch clicks perfectly, and the analog circuit sounds incredible.
