The Epiphone F-5G is the finest mandolin Epiphone has ever produced, crafted in collaboration with the Gibson Custom Shop as part of the Inspired by Gibson Custom series. Available now at Haggerty’s Music, this all-solid-wood instrument features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid figured maple back and sides for a rich, resonant voice with excellent projection. The figured maple neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard that has a comfortable compound radius, adorned with mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Classic F-style design elements include the carved scroll headstock, ornate flowerpot inlay, three-ply top binding, and vintage-style tuners with pearloid buttons. Finished in a warm Cremona Sunburst gloss polyurethane, the F-5G delivers balanced tone for both rhythm strumming and melodic lead lines. Includes a vintage-style rectangular hardshell case with green interior for secure transport and storage.
