For sale is an incredibly rare Fosse Ultra II Electric Sitar, a handmade custom instrument built by the late luthier Gregg Fosse.

This is not a mass-produced toy or a budget conversion; it is a professional-grade electric sitar featuring a genuine carbon fiber body. I purchased this instrument directly over a decade ago for $6,500 and it has remained unplayed in its case ever since. It is effectively a "New Old Stock" (NOS) time capsule piece.

All of the frets remain uninstalled, 19 in total, comes with string for you to attach them to the instrument. They can be placed at whatever spacing you desire, to create a specific tuning to your liking.

Unlike traditional wood electric sitars (like the Jerry Jones or Danelectro models) which can be sensitive to humidity and temperature, this instrument is built from carbon fiber.
