Dr Scientist's Sunny Day Delay is a delay with an all-analog signal path and uses a digital PT2399 delay chip for a lofi sound. Using this early chip designed for slapback, you can push it to its limits and get delays that are just over a second all the way down to nearly instant using the Delay control with corresponding Repeats knob. Included in the circuit is a modulation option that can get you to some strange zones, especially with lower delay times. You can customize your pedal by using the trimmers underneath the backplate for fine tuning the repeats and mod depth maximums, as well as setting whether the Mod footswitch up the Modulation or maximizes the Repeats. The perfect short delay with a lovely sound and versatile sound design options, the Sunny Day Delay from Dr. Scientist can find a way onto any pedalboard.
