The Ludwig Acrolite Classic Snare Drum is a revival of a '60s classic. Originally introduced early in the decade as a snare for students, the Acrolite became a quick choice for drummers seeking out a dry, cracking snare tone. Today, this sixties favorite receives new life for modern players.
Made in North Carolina, the Acrolite is fitted with a seamless, beaded, brushed-aluminum shell. This Ludwig features chrome Twin snare lugs alongside a P86C strainer and Keystone badge. Further features of this student snare classic include 2.3mm steel triple-flanged hoops, a P86C throw-off and a P35P butt plate. Coming together to keep the legacy of this '60s icon rolling, the Ludwig Acrolite builds upon a legacy decades in the making.
