Douglas / MORTone Hollow body 8 string electric mandocello , guitar conversion

Electric hollow body Mandocello Conversion made from a brand new jazz box style Douglas Electric Guitar ( the listing is "mint used" as required by reverb since I've modified the instrument).
Tuning: CC GG DD AA
scale length: 24.75"
    This is an Electric Mandocello that I have modified from a brand new Douglas WNO 630 SO hollow electric jazz style guitar.
The color is Sunburst.

      I added 2 new sealed tuners. Modified the nut And bridge and did a full setup on the instrument for great playability. The results are great, the instrument plays very well with good tone and intonation.
    The strings used for the mandocello are: CC (0.060) - GG (0.042) - DD (0.028) - AA (0.16p). The strings are standard Ernie Ball nickel ball end electric guitar, which are readily available. With the double course setup, you could choose to string it with just about any tuning you can think of with thinner strings. You could also use it as a huge octave mandolin or double course tenor guitar with different string sets.
This Instrument is new, however, there are several imperfections in the finish which can be felt under the paint and seen up close at an angle.

PLEASE NOTE! This Instrument is a conversion made from a GUITAR.
The neck will have a guitar type width, as I do NOT reduce the neck's width.

Remember, this is NOT an electric guitar. It is an electric mandocello. If you've ever priced a mandocello, then you know that they are exceedingly expensive due to their rarity. Electric mandocellos are even more rare than acoustics!
