About This Listing

The ROTEL RHQ-10 phono preamplifier was a top quality product in their Michi line from 1991 to 1996... and it's still the best they’ve ever made. They rarely show up on the used market. Completely discrete Class A circuitry and dual mono construction.

This stunning ROTEL Michi RHQ-10 phono preamp is in close to pristine condition with original instruction manual. Accommodates MC & MM cartridges through internal jumpers. Inside, there are over 30 Rubycon Black Gate capacitors plus numerous Vishay 1% resistors. ROTEL certainly wasn't messing around with this design as it is built to a very high standard. It has a single pair of inputs and two pairs of outputs (one fixed and one variable). You can use the front panel volume attenuator knob and run the variable output directly to a power amplifier (bypassing any preamplifier). USA 120-volt AC power. Barely used and just downsizing in my retirement. Keep in mind that this is vintage equipment that is 30+ years old. Does not include an AC power cord.

MM input: 2.5mV / 47kOhm / 100pF
MC input: 0.3mV / 100 Ohm
RIAA accuracy: ± 0.1dB
Fixed 1 output level: 0.775V / 100 Ohm (for 0.3mV input)
Fixed 2 & Variable output level: 0.775V / 100 Ohm (for 0.1mV input)
THD: 0.005% (20Hz~20Khz)
S/N ratio: 90dB MM; 75dB MC
Overload: 30dB MM; 30dB MC
Crosstalk: 80dB (20Hz~20Khz)
