About This Listing

This listing is for a very nice condition Signal Corps turntable made for the U.S. Army, model MX-39A/TIQ-2. It was manufactured by the David Bogen Company and is serial number 5. Yep, that's right, serial number 5! And David Bogen was an industry pioneer in audio manufacturing in the 1930s.

I believe the turntable to be from the mid-1940s, but maybe earlier. Everything is original and not refurbished, including the outer case. The power cord is missing so I cannot test if the unit works properly. But the turntable moves smoothly and all of the knobs & switches work as intended with no sticking or other problems. As such, I'm confident there are no mechanical issues with the unit. If not satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a full refund of the purchase price, less the cost of shipping.

It's quite heavy, so shipping will be somewhat costly. I'm located in Lake City, Florida, and willing to deliver to you (within a 150 mile radius) for a reasonable (and negotiable) delivery fee. Let me know if you have questions, need additional pictures or want to discuss delivery.
