In 2007, Johnny Craviotto and Adrian Kirchler began a legendary collaboration that result in some of the most beautiful, functional, and sonically stunning snare drums ever created—the Masters Metal series. Though Johnny is no longer with us, the co-operative relationship between AK and the Craviotto Drum Company remains strong to this day.

This 6.5x14" nickel over brass snare is from the first run of drums made with Adrian's meticulously crafted shells and built out with diamond-base tube lugs, branded Trick GS007 throw-off, tirple flanged hoops, and Craviotto snare wires. This drum has been championed by drummers like Chad Cromwell, Matt Chamberlain, Chad Smith, Ronnie Vannucci, Abe Laboriel Jr., and many others.

This snare, #17 of 50 made in this size is NEW OLD STOCK, meaning that it came to us in all original packaging, with original tags, heads, and soft bag. It has never been gigged, and only ever played for the audio sample here (at 2 different tunings, with a Remo Coated Ambassador).

These don't pop up very often these days, and especially not in this condition.

Please examine the photos closely for additional condition information and contact us if you have any questions that are not answered here or in the photos.

International shipping cost calculations can vary—we'll contact you if the calculated shipping is significantly discrepant from the actual cost.
