Superior Modern Craftsmanship
Fender has always built instruments with top of the line craftsmanship. They continue to be on the cutting edge of guitar crafting with the American Performer Series. This Jazzmaster is cut from alder in classic Jazzmaster shape and topped with a 4-ply brown shell pickguard. It's got a 25.5" scale length and maple modern "C" neck for sleek, comfortable playability. The 22-fret rosewood fretboard is lined with white dot inlays and sports jumbo frets, which look good and make bending the strings nice and easy.  

Strat-Style Bridge with American Performer Appointments
The American Performer Series Jazzmaster has some really cool appointments, some of which you'll recognize, and some of which you won't. It sports the classic headstock bearing the Jazzmaster name, adorned with ClassicGear Fender tuners. The volume and tone knobs are aged white, as is the tip of the three-way selector switch. But what makes the American Performer Jazzmaster unique is its bridge. Fender has replaced the traditional Jazzmaster tailpiece and bridge with a Strat-style six screw vintage synchronized tremolo bridge—another super cool innovation in the American Performer Series.

Yosemite Pickups
A signature of the American Performer Series is the Yosemite pickups. The Yosemites have flat-staggered pole pieces which increase output. They also have shellac potting that allows the coil to breathe and also maintains feedback. Ideal for many musical genres, these pickups bring forth rich tones and expressive sound. This Jazzmaster also features Greasebucket tone circuitry, like its American Performer siblings, which helps you define your highs without the addition of bass. All in all, this kitty purrs.
