Vintage Neumann U48 the most rare Neumann mic next to the M50 less than 1000 produced. The Beatles producer George Martin sent several U47's back to Neumann to convert them to U48's, the best for harmony vocals .This is a complete system of cable, power supply, and shock mount. Only the resister in the base has been changed over the years. Original K47 capsule. VF14 tube. Shock mount is aftermarket. PSU, and cable are newer Telefunken USA. Delivered fall of 1958.
