From '82 to '92, the Boss CE-3 Chorus Ensemble was the workingman's chorus effect, heard on countless recordings and seen on thousands of players' pedalboards. Boss chorus pedals have a strong legacy connected to Andy Summers, John Frusciante, and Herbie Hancock among others. Mostly known as the stereo version of the earlier Boss CE-2, the CE-3 had a slightly sharper tone. Why buy new when you can get a made-in-Japan classic for half the price?

CE-3's are older Boss/ACA adapter requirement - so either a Boss ACA adapter, 9v battery, daisy chain, or 12v adapter powers it - a typical everyday 9v 200mA adapter will not be sufficient power, the light will be dim and the output distorted (in a non-desirable manner).
