For consideration is a nice Technics SL 2000 direct drive fully manual turntable with like new Audio Technics cartridge/stylus. The SL 2000 is a true work horse and has a proven track record of great sound and superb reliability.

Technically, this turntable performs well - speed control is solid via direct drive technology. The queing raises and lowers with proper resistance, the strobe lamp illuminates as it should, and the Audio Technica VM 95C cartridge/stylus is in new condition and performs well. The rca jacks have been upgraded as well.

Cosmetically, the turntable is very presentable. The black plinth shows well - not perfect but more than decent. There is a slight white mark on the front edge you can see in the pictures (possibly can be buffed out). The dust cover has scuffs and scratches but looks ok - there is a crack by one of the rear hinges and a small semi circular cut out in the rear that can be seen in the pictures. The dustcover hinges are in good shape and it opens and closes as it should. All four original feet are present and are in good shape.

The turntable sounds great and is ready to go with no technical issues. It is not perfect cosmetically, but actually looks very nice considering age as you can see in the pictures.
