Squier Stratocaster MIJ 1985 in Black.
A series - Made in Japan during the good years. Anyone who picks it up agrees it's one of the special ones.
Medium/light weight. Chimes like an acoustic unplugged and has a neck profile to die for.
The guitar has a worn black finish and tinted gloss maple neck with dark rosewood slab board fretboard. Vintage Radius. Perfect C shape neck profile. Frets are in great condition (75% life remaining) It is original except for the addition of vintage style tuners and dual bar magnet higher output ceramic pickups that provide authentic strat "Quack."
Condition-wise the guitar is good. Guitar has a gently used appearance (relic look). This consists of a general aging of the appearance, nicks and dings on the body, and some light wear on the back of the neck. 2 cracks on the poly finish below the bridge give the guitar an almost lacquer checked look. The chrome hardware has an aged appearance as well, though remains perfectly functional. The kind of look you see on vintage guitars that one person owned and played for a long time.
The neck is straight and the truss rod works. The tuning keys work great and stays in tune exceptionally well. The guitar sounds good and plays good. No Disappointments here. Comes with locking hard shell case.
