Today at EGV we have a May of 1996 Fender Lonestar Stratocaster made in the USA. This guitar is largely original with the exception of the graphtech string saver saddles that were swapped by a previous owner. The original Billy Gibbons style humbucker, the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates, in the bridge combined with the SRV style Texas special Stratocaster pickups make this Strat a true Texas player with influences from two of the biggest blues players to come from the Lonestar state. This finish is technically called Shoreline gold but looks much more like Inca silver to me.
The only other “mod” is the previous owners ex-girlfriend kicked this guitar pretty hard and left a crack in the back of the body. It looks like the guitar was leaning up against something and was stomped. The neck is fully functional and in great shape, and the body looks like someone glued it, but after a few months of playing this around the shop and at a few gigs, I haven’t had any issues with tuning stability, playability or intonation.
