This Couesnon flugelhorn needs no introduction. This one has a "D" stamp, with the serial number approximately puts it in the late 60s. The flugel had some braces resoldered and a third slide amado water key added, but otherwise everything is in great shape, with lacquer holding up quite well. Not much dings or dents, and the valves works like a charm with good compression! The flugel has an original tuning leadpipe, so a French taper flugel mouthpiece will be preferred, or you can get a GR/Melk leadpipe. That being said, this flugel has the iconic Couesnon sound with pretty solid intonation (with a French taper flugel mouthpiece)! I can include an original case at additional cost.
