This is a vintage instrumen. There will be dings and marks of honest play wear. Selling as is and describing to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions before purchasing.

I've had the guitar set up the way I like it. Your preference may be different.

Also please contact me first before purchasing if you have less than 10 positive transactions on reverb. Otherwise I will cancel the transaction.

Now that that's out of the way.

Selling my killer 1973 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail. Featherweight 6.5lbs!! Super resonant and the original pickups sound fantastic in every position!! The maple neck has some flame on the back and is super comfortable medium-slim fast playing maple neck just feels great in your hands. 5way switch in there now. Original 3 way will come along. I had my tech wire it the Eric Johnson way with the top tone control working the neck pickup and the bottom tone knob working the bridge pickup. The middle pickup having no tone control. Easy fix the switch one wire if want the stock wiring of no tone control for the bridge pickup

The patina of the 3 tone sunburst has faded to an almost 1950's 2 tone. With just a hint of the red. Looks and feels awesome like a goof 51 year old guitar should And the headstock has the typical yellowing that a lot of them get due to the lacquer that Fender used back then. All giving it that killer vintage mojo.
This is a special guitar.
When I bought it the tone pots were shot and they were not original so I replaced all the pots with NOS 1973 pots! The original frets have almost all its life left. It's really the best sounding lightest weight early 70's Strats I've ever played. I have it set up and intonated how I like it with medium-high action for blues bending. You can set it up how you like once you get it. I am only selling to fund another purchase for a bucketlist guitar from the early 60's I've been wanting for a long time.
