Experience the guitar that defined elegance and power – meticulously recreated by the Gibson Custom Shop in its original 1957 glory. This 2023 Custom Shop Black Beauty features three powerful CustomBucker Alnico III unpotted pickups, a mahogany body and neck, ebony fingerboard, and a VOS finish.
The 1957 reissue from the Gibson Custom Shop features a body carved from a single piece of solid mahogany, which is unique among Les Paul models. The guitar has a dark mid-range tone from the body that pairs well with the bright-sounding solid Ebony fingerboard with 22 Historic medium jumbo frets. It has a 50s Rounded Medium C neck profile. Premium appointments include gold hardware, mother-of-pearl '50s Pattern inlays, and Kluson Waffleback tuners. Comes with original case
