Up for grabs is ONE pair of a new old stock (with packaging) Regal Tip 601SG (Goodman # 1) TIMPANI MALLETS HARD.

Inner wood core covered with first quality white damper felt

Hard rock maple handles (shaft).

Measurements :

• Diameter of lower bout of shaft / stick : 0.580"
• Diameter of cream-ish white soft damper felt: about 1 and 3/8 inches (please correct me if it is a different measurement)
• Height of cream-ish white soft damper felt: about 1 inch
• Full Length: 14 and 1/2"
  

The REGAL TIP 601SG (CP-601SG) has an inner wood core covered with first quality white damper felt.

• Effective for loud rolls and loud vigorous rhythmical playing.

I think that this model Regal Tip Mallet is discontinued. If so - I'm very glad that I have somehting you you are looking for (especailly in unused condition) !!

The mallets are in very near MINT condition. The only thing to comment about one of heads is that there is a very small dot not too light / not too deep visible hole in felt (SEE close-up picture # 7 and you can also see this imperfection in pictures # 8 and # 9). I'm not sure what caused this - maybe a moth??

The packaging is in between Very Good and Good shape.

I got these mallets back in 2019 (even back then - they were in "new" old stock condition). I was planning to sell them sooner- but was kind of busy. Finally getting a chance to sell them now.

The heads are fine / unused condition - with the exception that (as I commented on above) for one of heads - there is a very small dot not too light / not too deep visible hole in felt (SEE close-up picture # 7 and you can also see this imperfection in pictures # 8 and # 9). I'm not sure what caused this - maybe a moth??

The maple handles are fine.

The logos on the handles are fine.

The packaging (paper part and the clear bag part) that has some visibe aging same some visible wear.

• The paper part of the packaging has some visible imperfections / wear on most of the corners and on some of the edges. The front upper left corners (which is also the back upper right corner) and the front lower right corner (whoch is the back lower left corner) have visibe not too long / not too small short creases. The front lower rigth corner has some wear. The area near the front lower left has a little unevenness. The center area of the top edge has a very shrrt crease. The edges have minor wear here & there. The lower left and lower rigth areas have a few tiny holes from when the packaing was stapled. And the main areas of the paper has some light uneveness.
• The clear plastic baggie has aged / yellowed. It has several visible imperfections: some cloudiness, some light cloudy surface residue inside the bag, some discoloration, some creases, some uneveness, some nicks, several light scratches, and a few tiny holes.

I took several pictures of the 602SG1 mallets and there are a couple pictures of the packaging.

NOTE: There may be a few minor imperfections that I overlooked. There maybe a few minor imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. Also - there are some imperfections (glares, reflections. dust specks) that show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
