I have a 1978 Les Paul custom, Kalamazoo for sale.

*Apologies for originally posting the wrong born on date. I think I got it right this time*

It's got a three piece Maple neck, so you won't have it snapping issues as much as with the mahogany.

It's got a completely new wire job. It just came off the luthier table as well. Everything was checked out and tuned up. This guitar is ready to plug in and step on stage.

I took off the white pick guard.

It's in the case.

The gold bridge needed new saddles. I couldn't find the saddles or a gold bridge local, so I bought a high quality bridge and put on there. The old bridge is fine. It just needs new saddles. It's coming with the guitar as well.

The case has some wear on the outside. Looks pretty good on the inside.

There's a little scratching on the back. Looks like a belt buckle situation. Some small wear and tear on the headstock. I think you can see it in the serial number picture.

It's got three pickups. There has been some discussion about if the third is original or custom. I put some pictures up of the cavities. Also the sloping pickup rings. If you have any information, feel free to share with me. Otherwise ask me and I'll try to find out.

It's got the Peter Frampton style setup. The third pick up is basically independent. Lots of fun to play for sure.

All of the cavities are shielded. I use the best wires I can get to wire it up. Orange capacitor as well..

This guitar was owned by a gentleman called Johnny davis.

He played lead for Curly Chalker on the famous California Country Club video, and was an exceptional steel player as well. Johnny worked in California for years with the Gene Davis band and went by the name of Johnny Dee.

I have two of his other guitars as well. I will post them soon.

I do mess with guitars. But I am in no way an expert. Feel free to ask for extra pictures or any questions that you might have. I'll do my best to get you an answer as quickly as possible.
