I am the original owner. I bought this guitar new through Legato Guitars (Bill Fender) in 2002.
There are three issues, none of which affect tone or playability.
1) Crack in the top from pickup to tailpiece. This appears to be a crack in the wood.
2) Crack in the finish straddling the cable jack. This appears to be a finish issue and not cracked wood.
2) Defects in the pearl inlay in the headstock and the marker at the 24th fret. These are cosmetic manufacturing defects that I did not notice when I bought it.
It is in otherwise excellent condition, with no noticeable scratches or mars.
I will also include:
- Hardshell case. Four of the 11 bumpers have come off; I still have three of them.
- Truss rod wrench which came with the guitar
