Up for grabs is a vintage Dreadnought size Chipboard Case. This used chipboard case came with a used vintage 1975 - 1978 (possibly from 1974) Madeira A-25 (by Guild) Acoustic Guitar, Made in Japan, Dreadnought. NO guitar included.

  • In case you are wondering - I sold the guitar about two years ago (I NO longer have the guitar).

EXTERIOR: Black reptile pattern / thin vinyl like material. LATCHES / HINGES: Brass color. HANDLE: Hard Plastic. INTERIOR: Red very thin inslde material. NO guitar included.

The weight of the chipboard case around pounds 10 ounces.

Feel free to ask for measurement of this chipboard case.

NOTE: I wasn't the original owner of the used guitar(NO guitar included) that this used chipboard case was paired with (SEE LAST TWO PICTURES) - so I cannot be 100% sure if it is the actual chipboard that came with the guitar. Therefore - this chipboard case might not be from the 1970's. From my many years selling music gear - I'm pretty sure that it is. You might know more about this than me. If anything - it is still a very old chipboard case. And for it's age -- it is in nice used shape.

There is NO graphic/ NO logo / NO brand name on the case.

This chipboard in used condition and it has aging, imperfections, and wear. Many areas of the case are in intact. But on the exterior there are some cuts and unraveling in the STITCHING - a few of which have caused noticable (but not extremely serious) separation of the main side(s) of the case with the side area(s) of the case (bottom side - mid right area). SEE pictures # 11, # 12, and # 13 - these pictures show the same area just different angles.

The main OUTER areas are (all BLACK) with a reptile textures appearance - the outer material is thin (but kind of durable) vinyl like. The latches / hinges / hardware for the handle are brass color - The handle is black plastic. The inside is red - the red lining is very thin. Ther eis a small accessories compartment.

The brass color hardware has a lot of visible rust / discoloration.

I'll be adding more written details later today For now -- please refer to the pictures.

For reference purposes only - here is the link of the used Madeire A-25 dreadnought acoustic guiatr when I had it paired with this chipboard cass. NO guitar included. This was the title of the listing: "used (light average wear) vintage 1975 - 1978 (possibly from 1974) Madeira A-25 (by Guild) Acoustic Guitar, Made in Japan, Dreadnought, natural colored top, gloss finish, (all original) + Original Chipboard Case""

NOTE:  There may be some imperfections that I overlooked.   There some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures (or that do not shoow up accurately in the pictures). And - there are some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person (such as glares, reflections, and / or dust specks).

  • Comes from a smoke free and pet free environment.
  • Feel free to ask questions.
  • I will discount shipping on combined purchases

*******************

  • Will Ship World Wide (with USPS Priority Mail International).   If you do not see a shipping / packaging cost for your location (or if it is $200 USD) - please contact me me for the shipping / packaging cost - it might be lower.

  • USA shipments -- In most situations - the shipping carrier that I will be using for USA (states and territories) is USPS -- but I also use UPS.  Since the s/p cost varies  (depending on location) - I put a general cost of $180 (which is the price for me shipping it to California, Oregon, Hawaii, Alaska using USPS Ground). But for some USA locations the s/p cost will be lower than $180. EXAMPLE - the s/p cost to ship to NJ / NY will cost about $ $91 / $97 .  Therefore I can edit this s/p cost.
  • The shipping  / packaging cost is based on the location it is going to, the weight, and size of the package  --  plus the packaging cost.
  • For USA locations -- I live in New Jersey - therefore - please keep in mind that the s/p cost for a coast to coast shipment will be high - that is is why I'll be using a Ground Shipping Service. Bu for an additional cost - I can use a faster service upon request. Feel free to message me for price(s).
