About This Listing

This is THE acoustic bass for upright impersonators. And this one just got back from Baruke Guitars in Gainesville where Allen Williams worked his magic and fixed a crack on the bottom side of the bass (see photos). His repair notes said "the crack is solid and barely visible" Currently tuned at standard tension with a new set of Ernie Ball Phosphor Bronze Earthwood Strings. If I was a bass player, I would keep it.

Product Overview
Part of the Tacoma's Thundercheif Series, the CB10C was produced with the company's signature upperbout soundhole. This bass was also produced as a fretless model and with an optional Fishman pickup series. The Thunderchief series lasted until 2008, when Fender (the now owners of Tacoma) discontinued the brand.
