1986 Fender Contemporary Precision Bass, made in Japan.  Nice yellowed pearl finish (like the Buster Bass). Has some finish nicks and scratches, as to be expected from a vintage bass 40-years old. Sounds phenomenal with plenty of punch! This bass cuts through a mix brilliantly and is one of the nicest playing/feeling basses. It is in good condition and plays great! The Fender Contemporary Model series was produced in Japan in the 80’s. These models predominantly featured black hardware, headstocks, higher output pickups and pickguard-less features. Still the classic P bass sound, but a departure from the standard sunburst tortoise pickguard P Basses . Comes with original case.
