2019 Gibson J45 Studio Walnut Natural Gloss Acoustic Guitar OHSC

Here’s a 2019 Gibson J45 Studio Walnut acoustic guitar in Natural Gloss finish. This J45 comes with the original hardshell Gibson case. Please note this is one of the earlier versions with the high gloss finish. The ones currently being sold for $2400 all have the less desirable satin finish. Mahogany neck, Sitka spruce top, walnut back and sides. The grain of the walnut has a beautiful consistency and to my ears this tone wood gives you more treble and focus than the traditional mahogany which fits very well with the balance and bass warmth J45's are known for. Has the factory LR Baggs under saddle piezo pickup with volume and tone control in the sound hole.

This guitars plays great and sounds phenomenal. It is equally at home on stage or as a songwriting workhorse. The one flaw is a small ding on the upper bout- see last two detail pictures. The ding is about a half inch wide. Frets are perfect and the guitar plays smooth and easy up and down the neck. The gloss finish is so much nicer than the satin.
