1962 Beautifully restored Fisher 500B Tube Integrated Amplifier with phono pre in a custom Cherry cabinet by Lynnward Woodworks. Has vintage and strong testing (very valuable) Fisher-branded 12AX7s in all the critical audio signal paths. Except the phono section which has brand-new matched Soviet 12AX7LPS. A quad of matched Russian Tung-Sol 7591's, and they have settled in beautifully. I find the TungSol to be a near-NOS sounding 7591, and far better than most new production 7591's.The restore was completed by a HiFi dealer and preforms like new. Current voltage values are reported for each tube (see pic) to verify all tested within spec. FM tuner is powerful. I used it to playback 2 tape decks, an AR-XA turntable and hifi dac. All inputs are clean and balanced. Select between 4, 8, and 16 ohm speaker loads. The sound is natural, full-bodied, and powerful at a variety of efficiency ratings. It sounded quite good with Dynaudio Special 40's (86db), a pair of AR-5s (92db) and KEF LS50s (83db).
