For Sale is a 16 Channel Neotek series 1/1E Recording console. The exterior condition of the unit is EXCELLENT, including the original leather elbow rest. Used weekly in my smoke-free home studio.
I had a tech do deep clean of all the pots, faders, and connectors a few years ago. Most channels and busses work great. A few exceptions are listed below. All cues, sends, and returns work with no issue.
All LEDs and meters work as expected and are accurate.
Channel 7: Line input doesn't work, but mic pre does
Channel 13 has a bad fader - sends unity gain all the time. Not an issue when using the direct out.
Buss 3: Doesn't work
Buss 6: Sounds thin
Control Room Output is 3dB down on the right side. 2-Mix Out and Studio Out both work fine and are suitable workarounds for connecting/controlling monitors if needed. I never used the master section since I pretty much used this board as 16-pres and EQs, direct into ProTools, so this was never an issue for me.
Master fader was pretty shot when I had it serviced so the tech replaced it with a rotary knob. Original fader is actually stored inside the board so you’ll have that if you want to get it fixed up.
Power supply was rebuilt and recapped before I bought it (2016 or so?).
All pertinent console connections come to connectors (1/4 TS, XLR) on back panel, including direct line outs, which makes the console a great fit for hybrid studios and DAWs. All internal wiring is point to point - no ribbon cables, so the console is extremely reliable.
Comes with complete schematics AND (2) 1/4 TS patchbays that I'll include.
