This is a highly unusual & all original example of a Les Paul TV Yellow 4-String “Tenor” Special model special ordered by its 1st owner, its TV finish has that cool faded finish factor showing a fair amount of use, its 1 piece mahogany body & neck construction shows off its pretty grain pattern thru the finish, its 2 Black P-90 pickups have its outer pole pieces capped off w/Pearl inlays by the Gibson factory as these were not made in a 4-String Tenor style at this time, its smooth playing mahogany neck has a bound/dot inlaid rosewood fingerboard w/a slim design sporting its 1956 black inked on serial # as all guitars had during this period, its 4 original single line Kluson tuners are original but have new reissue white buttons, its black pickgard, matching knobs & factory wrap around tailpiece are all in place, this is 1 really cool oddball & perhaps one of the rarest Les Paul’s ever produced, its all original & excellent overall & comes with a nice Gig Bag.
