2012 Fender Dave Murray Stratocaster in Black

This Used 2012 Fender Dave Murray Stratocaster in Black is here on trade and it is in very nice shape. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case. 

This version of the Dave Murray Stratocaster was made from 2009 to 2015. They have become a cool collectible over the last decade or so. It becomes unique when you start combing over how some of the things were done, like pickup rings on a Strat and HSH configuration. The DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge nails the sound of the era perfectly while the DiMarzio PAF in the neck thickens things up perfectly. An American Vintage Single-Coil in the middle helps provide a little quack in positions 2 and 4, or a nice sparkly clean tone on its own.

The neck is a Modified Soft V Profile that feels fairly similar to a Custom Shop 10/56. It has a 9.5" fingerboard radius and Medium-Jumbo frets for a modern feel. The back of the neck has satin lacquer while the fingerboard is full gloss.
