Here is a stunningly gorgeous 2014 Gibson Custom L5 CES. I purchased this guitar directly from the Gibson showroom in Memphis. It's been lightly played over the last ten years.

In order to improve the acoustic tone, I had a brass chambered single piece Compton Compensating Bridge made. This bridge replaced the 13 individual pieces of the stock bridge (bridge, 6 saddles, and 6 screws) with a single piece of solid chambered brass. This significantly improves the transmission of string vibration to the acoustic top of the guitar. It drops right on to the bridge posts. I'm selling this guitar with the original bridge as well as the Compton bridge, so you can easily try it both ways :)

Since I occasionally traveled with this guitar, I had Jeff Hoffee make a custom carbon fiber case to the exact proportions of this guitar. The case is indestructible, thickly padded, temperature stabilized with Thinsulate insulation, waterproof, and has an embedded electronic chip for tracking. It has padded backpack straps that make it a breeze to carry. The cost of the case was about $1,400. IMO, this is well worth it given it's role in protecting this stunning and valuable instrument. If you're not familiar with these cases, it's worth doing a search online to find some fairly entertaining videos of Jeff throwing his cases out of second story windows, dropping cinder blocks on them, and rolling over them with a truck to find the guitar still safe, sound, and in tune inside.
