Sansui SR-929 direct-drive turntable 1976-1979 - Black

This Sansui sr-929 was my main turntable until one day it just slowed down... it did not cease to work but the speed of the turntable just slowed down. I opened it to check and see if it was a mechanical issue and it was not. It has since been sitting in my storage unit in Brooklyn. I'm letting it go AS IS thinking someone out there might want to take it on as a project and get it fixed. It sounded great while it sill worked.

The turntable has some dents in the exterior corners, some visible wear and dust, it is over 45 years old. Dustcover and cables included. No cartridge. The manual pictured is a printout I found online.

The turntable is very heavy, 17 kgs ( 38 lbs), which makes it difficult to easily move around and ship. Local pickup will get you a better deal.
