About This Listing

Overhauled/serviced Juno-106 in really good condition! Technically the whole unit is fully working and sounds great! See separate listing below of all work done. Cosmetically it has really small signs of use, almost mint condition considering the age of this synth (see pics!). Only "bigger" cosmetical thing is one small scratch (see pic) and some wear around volume knob (see pic). Also, some of the buttons have changed the color which is normal due to ageing process of plastic. This is 100V Japanese version, manufactured in December 1984. If you live in 220-240V area I can provide voltage converter. I can ship this in firm box, heavily packed.

Work done:

  • The whole chorus board (and PSU board) has been recapped with quality electrolytic capacitors (Nichicons only) to reduce the annoying noise to minimal level
  • All the PSU board voltages have been calibrated
  • Battery replaced and battery holder installed to make future battery changes easier
  • All buttons in circuit board have been replaced to new quality ones (Alps)
  • All the sliders and pots have been cleaned
  • All the dust protectors on sliders have been replaced with new ones
  • Overall cleaning inside and outside has been done to whole Juno, looks really nice
  • Factory presets loaded
  • This one has the original voice chips, but the previous owner has removed the resin from them, so no problems with them, all tests are passed

If you would like to know more about the work done, please sent me a message.

Product Overview
Highly lauded for its programmability and classic analog sound, the Roland Juno-106 has earned a place in the hearts of synth-lovers everywhere since its release in 1984. Boasting six-voice polyphony, fantastic flexibility thanks to its MIDI capabilities, a hands-on interface for super-productive workflow, and digitally controlled oscillators for tuning stability along its analog signal path, the Juno-106 carried on the legacy of its predecessors, the Juno-6 and the Juno-60.
