1967 Ludwig Super Classic in beautiful Sparkling Red Pearl! This is an all original and absolutely stunning kit, and it’s missing nothing! This was sold out of “The Drum Shop” owned by George Hamilton in 1967 located on 1429 Broadway in Detroit Michigan. The buyer was the only owner of this kit until it came to me. The kit as I mentioned is in great shape and it’s all there as it would of been when sold out of the catalog! She includes a 5x14 Ludwig Supra-Phonic 400, 14x22 kick drum, 9x13 rack tom with all mounting hardware still present, 16x16 floor tom, original Ludwig cowbell with clamp holder, kick mount cymbal stand, speed king pedal, Ludwig snare stand, Ludwig hi hat stand, and Ludwig cymbal stand! All the stands / hardware still have their original boxes they came in! All the drums are equipped with the Detroit Michigan drum shop badges in addition to the keystone Ludwig badges. This kit was bought exactly like this back in 1967 with every single piece here being original to the day it was purchased together! So cool, you really don’t see time capsules like this too often! Once she landed in my hands, I completely cleaned and hand polished every single piece of hardware on the entire kit! The two toms received newer Ludwig/remo coated batter heads while their reso heads are 67’ originals, kick drum has both original heads, snare has two replacement Remo heads. All drums tuned up and all hardware was tightened too! She now sounds absolutely amazing! No creaking or rattling like youd expect from such an old kit. Just sweet and warm tones from this gal! A true pleasure to play!
