About This Listing

Up for sale is an archtop bass that sports a genuine double bass sound. Which is very hard to believe which is why I have linked a recording of this bass just for you!

It was handmade by a luthier handmade in Wisconsin and sports a Sitka Spruce top with a maple binding with a hand carved and graduated top and back The back and sides are walnut. It is a 34 inch scale length with a dove-tailed neck joint. The neck is a 3 piece walnut neck with a maple stringer and an ebony fretboard. The bass is currently strung with labella tapewounds

I had a K&K Pure Bass piezo system installed for live performance and recording use, so it’s ready to gig. The bass does not come with a case though I have a cello bag for it and will bubble wrap and pack it tight with copious amounts of peanuts.

It has a little chip on the binding and minor tiny dings on the headstock.
