Triangle big muff in player's condition is now in stock.
Big Muff began to be distributed around 1969. The first model with a large closure is popularly known as the triangle muff, which comes from the arrangement of the knobs. With a slightly smaller body than subsequent models, it looks like this is where the history of Big Muff began.
This is an example from around 1971 where you can see the PCB (printed) board and power ON/OFF switch. There are traces of LED lights added to the surface of the casing, but they have now been replaced. There are some signs of use such as scratches on the casing, and it is in good condition with the atmosphere of a vintage instrument. The control knob and housing set screw have been replaced.
Equipped with 2N5133 transistor. Effect ON/OFF switch and tone POT have been replaced. A unique individual with a swirling low feeling and thick distortion sound. It can be said that this is a machine that gives off a powerful presence with just one shot.
Replacement parts: Housing set screw, control knob, effect ON/OFF switch, battery snap, tone POT Accessories: None
*Turn off the power switch when not in use By doing so, you can reduce the consumption of 9V battery. --
The original Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi was issued in several different casings. This all metal finish casing with simple black lettering and knobs in a triangle formation represents the earliest (and most valuable) model.
Years of Production: 1971 - 1984 (original issue); 1996 - present (reissues)
