The Sterling Ray 34 comes from the Music Man Stingray family, and carries on the lineage of stellar basses to a new generation. 
The mahogany body is carved to the iconic Stingray silhouette, and is is bathed in a gloss black, creating the picture-perfect 'Ray. 
Sitting amidst the black guard is the massive Music Man-designed alnico humbucker with oversized pole pieces.
Another look that defines these basses.
This uber-powerful, super-musical pickup creates a complex and dynamic tone, and when that is fed to the active 3-band EQ the tones of the Ray 34 are as limitless, for any style of music.
The maple neck is satin finished and perfectly comfortable.
And the 6-bolt joint provides excellent stability and vibrational transfer for superb energy in the low frequencies.
This Ray 34 is in good overall condition- typical marks and scratches you expect on a gloss black instrument, purely aesthetic- nothing that affects the performance.
The frets here are clean- set up and ready to play.
