I believe I am the only seller on Reverb to have listed this model of Kenwood turntable here.

One, Extremely Rare, Made in Japan, 1977, Semi-Automatic, Two-Speed, Auto Return and Shut off, Direct Drive Kenwood Turntable, Model Kd-3070. Excellent Condition cosmetically. The dustcover has light marks.  This turntable Works Perfectly. Also, the Cartridge is a New, Old Stock OEM Shure Cartridge. This is a high output cartridge that rivals the famous Shure M44-7 DJ cartridge for output strength and durability. You don't have to be a DJ to appreciate the quality of this cartridge. It is definitely Audiophile. I have been playing this cartridge and this turntable with a few records I have listened to many times and this cartridge and turntable bring out the best of Any Vinyl record Album! I Guarantee it! I have a large stock of OEM cartridges and needles from Ortofon and others. Just let me know if you want another cartridge. But, I would advise against it!

This Rare and sought after turntable is Clean throughout. The plinth is super clean, the dustcover is very clean with minor flaws but a few small cracks that don't go all the way through at the hinges which is very common for this model of Kenwood Turntable. This turntable is plug and play and needs nothing. It works like a Mint condition turntable and sounds amazing! It has no mechanical, electrical or functional issues. I went through it myself and adjusted it, lubricated the arm and all the buttons and knobs. The sound is Amazing!  

Sensitive Vintage audio items like turntables of this type will take a couple more days to ship than other vintage audio items (5 business days especially if bought at the end of the week Thursday-Sunday). Also, I am extra careful and use a double-walled electronics box for every turntable I ship to protect them against damage that can occur during transit and I always utilize the Reverb Safe Shipping Plan (RSS) which I pay for out of my own pocket. This protects both you and me against loss or damage in transit and I NEVER sell my items "AS IS" as do most of the other sellers on here. I fully service them, and Guarantee I sell. Although nearly all my items are vintage, some more than 50 years old, I back them up 100%. I find that many of these Vintage items are made better than the modern ones of comparable price!

This shipping timetable is a guideline and not set in stone. Extenuating circumstance can sometimes delay shipment. Things like multiple buys on this platform in a short amount of time like 10 items sold in a 7 day period, or the illness of a child or my own illness or a fire or flood or an earthquake. I understand that most of the latter types of these things are rare. However, please understand that I am only one person and if you want the rare vintage item you bought to arrive in the same condition it left me, it may take more time to do it right!

Ships from San Marcos, CA. Packed safely and securely. If bought and paid for Monday through Wednesday, I will ship out on Saturday. If bought and paid for Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I will ship out by the following Friday! I ALWAYS use the Reverb Safe Shipping when shipping which protects both you and me against potential damage in transit. And, I typically lose money on shipping because I only charge for the carrier fees; boxes Styrofoam, packing peanuts and tape all cost money as well. In addition, I don't ship quickly or cheaply. Why sloppily throw vintage gear in Excellent or Mint condition into a box or poorly wrap it so it gets damaged in transit? I DO NOT DO THAT! So, Please Be Patient! I am not Amazon either! I am an individual selling the massive amount of Vintage Gear that my family has acquired over the past 60 years. Sometimes I sell a dozen items in a week and it takes time to pack and ship each item!  

The items I am selling here on Reverb are not Pre-boxed and already packaged and ready for shipment. I pack them AS THEY ARE SOLD!

I am meticulous with my packaging and I agonize over choosing the proper box and the materials that are ideal for each unit. Boxes, especially ones that are the correct dimensions for the item at hand are not always easy to come by. I use high quality electronics boxes especially made for shipping vintage items of this type and if one box in the proper size is unavailable, I use TWO corrugated cardboard boxes, putting one box with the unit in it INSIDE another larger box with even more packing material to fully protect the unit and that, especially, can be costly.

So, the Price is Firm! However, the price is Negotiable if you bundle and buy 2 or more other of my Reverb items!
