Ludwig 3-ply White Marine Pearl 'Super Classic' 22-16-13"
Handsome Ludwig White Marine Pearl Super Classic kit.
Here are some details:
Bass Drum 22" diameter x 14" depth:
- Chrome lugs have pitting and scratches.
- T-rods and claws have pitting and scratches.
- Hoops have some paint loss, claw indentations, dings, dents, slight warp where pedal attaches
- Wrap has light scuffs and light marks, one wrap seam lifting slightly, one wrap seam has some old glue near the corner from a previous repair.
- Extra holes from the rail consolette being oriented on top of the kick drum were filled by a previous owner. Dowels extend slightly into the interior of the drum.
- Edges in good condition with some minor wear.
- Rail consolette has one longer non original bolt and non original nut.
- 357655 serial number places this drum around 1966.
Floor Tom 16" diameter x 16" depth:
- Chrome lugs have pitting and scratches.
- Hoops have light pitting, light scratches and some light rust.
- Wrap has light scuffs and light marks.
- Interior has some marks and some small areas of paint flaking.
- Edges in good condition with some small gaps in the plys and some light wear typical of Ludwigs from this era.
- Muffler is missing.
- 286448 serial number places this drum around 1966.
Rack Tom 13" diameter x 9" depth:
- Chrome lugs have pitting and scratches.
- Hoops have light pitting and light scratches.
- Wrap has light scuffs, light marks and some patchy residue on one panel.
- Top edge has some ply gaps and light wear. The bottom edge has an old repair and some small gouges in that same area. The edge is overall smooth and consistent with some slight disruptions but it accepts the head well and the drum sounds good.
- Non original muffler.
- 359251 serial number places this drum around 1966.
