About This Listing

STRAT-STYLE Replacement Guitar Neck (AS IS)

I'm unsure of the make on this neck but from the toner and abalone inlays as well as the figuring on the maple I'm guessing it was intended for or from something kind of nice. It came to me on a Mahogany body Strat-copy. It appears to have had some kind of decals on it that were removed before it came to me. In fact I just noticed when taking photos for this listing. I took it off the guitar because even though it was straight and flat the truss rod seemed either broken or the nut had become cross threaded because it tightens in both directions.

The other known issues: (see photos)

The 22nd fret was cut off where it hung over the maple, appears there are two holes where the neck was drilled through, tip of screw remains in head where it broke off removing tuners, multiple holes from being fixed to several different bodies, lacquer missing on sides of neck near headstock, scuffed at front tip of headstock, previously mentioned truss rod situation.

The dark fingerboard, abalone inlays and aged lacquer look make it very attractive. A little TLC could bring it back to life. As it is despite the condition I think at the very least it could serve as a neck for a guitar set up for slide work. I don't have anything suitable to use it on and want to make some room.
