About This Listing

Welcome guitar aficionados, addicts, and enthusiasts!

Here at Soundclown, I have an absolutely beautiful 2010 Squier Standard Series Stratocaster, finished in a "special run" Montego black metallic.

This guitar is in awesome condition! It shows almost no evidence of having been played. It even still has the cellophane still on the pickguard, and back trem cover! The Montego black paint is in great condition, with no scratches, dings, or dents, other than some tiny polishing swirls. Same goes for the neck, and fretboard... they are nearly flawless! The hardware shines beautifully, and the electronics work exactly as they should!

If you are not familiar with the Squier "Standard Series" guitars, they were only made for a few years, and were noted for their build quality, fit and finish, as well as many available finishes, and pickup configurations. They were most commonly identified by the large 70's style headstock (with Standard Series printed on the upper part), and the 2-point tremolo bridge. This particular instrument has the traditional Stratocaster 3-single-coil pickup configuration, and 5-way selector switch, with a 25.5" scale maple neck/fretboard, sealed die-cast tuners (that still have the protective film on them also!), and the neck has a comfy satin poly finish. This guitar plays and sounds like a Strat should! The neck is straight, the action is great, and the set-up is pretty much spot-on factory-spec...no disappointments on this one!

This instrument is all original, no modifications or repairs have been made, and includes the tremolo arm. The serial number designates that this guitar was made in 2010, at the Cor-Tec (Cort) factory in Indonesia. It is also designated as a "special run", due to it's unusual finish. I've owned a few standards, and really like them...I already know I'm going to regret letting this one go, as older guitars in this shape don't come along too often, but...I can't keep them all!

I will include a new set of strings, and a new Fender padded gig-bag, which the guitar will be in, and will be carefully padded and packed, for safe and secure shipping.

Soundclown is offering this guitar in as-is condition, no warranty, or guarantee implied. Please look closely at the pictures provided, for proof of condition. Stand not included.
