Horns up for this mean bass! Peace sells...but who's buying?
Dave is a friend of our store and we even have a signed photo of him overlooking the desk as we type this ad. He's a metal icon, and sure, he's had some not-so-great-press in recent years, but he's still a beast of a player, a nice dude, and still sitting proudly on the Mount Rushmore of Metal bassists! This Peavey Signature Model was a short-lived production model that we rarely see pop up for sale. This one has been played, so it has some dings and scratches, but no signs of outright abuse. It doesn't look bad, it just looks......used.
The bass is 100% stock with no modifications. The stock equipment on these was actually thoughtful and purposely made to be a reliable gigging bass. Seymour Duncan Bassline pickups and a Switchcraft output jack are usually things not found on instruments this affordable. Well done, Peavey and Dave! The bass has been set-up and restrung. It plays great and sounds monstrous! Sorry about the bright white light spots on the bass in the photos. The gloss black with a mirror pickguard and chrome accents is hard to photograph.
