About This Listing

There's always something about a vintage blonde Gibson arch top that excites the mind like no other. This guitar is no exception! An absolutely amazing all original 1958 Gibson ES-350T ( Serial no A29356 FON T6955 17) with dual PAF that sound absolutely amazing! This guitar is in amazing condition for the age and was well taken care of throughout its life. No breaks or repairs. I acquired this from the daughter of the original owner of the guitar, who was a songwriter for many years. He took great care of the guitar as evidenced by the condition of this beauty. With only 43 made for 1958 this is a rare bird!

Gutar over all is in excellent condition for the vintage with the usual finish checking, patina on the gold hardware. Frets are in amazing condition that show light wear, you can tell the original owner had a light touch. Neck pickup reads 7.35K and bridge measures 7.4K

I did have to get the bridge pickup rewound. The bridge pickup had to be rewound due to the enamel on the wire being degraded to the point that the coil was shorting out. The rewind was done by Joe Dobson of JKG guitars in London who used the vintage correct elektra sola wire that sounds absolutely perfect.

The guitar has been fully set up with 11-50 gauge strings. It has had action, Intonation, and neck relief adjustments for optimal playability and tone.

Includes original Lifton Case that is in good condition and closes and latches with no issues. Handle is strong.

Please check photos for condition and message me with any questions you may have or if you need additional photos. Sold as described but will include a 24 hour inspection period. If unsatisfied ( you won't be) you can return for a 3.5% restocking fee as long as guitar is in the same condition as I have described here. I have described the guitar to the best of my ability. Please refer to the high resolution photos for condition. This guitar will be very well packed and shipped for a safe journey with reverb safe shipping for piece of mind. Thanks for looking!!!

Product Overview
The ES-350 T was a thinbody archtop that replaced the original ES-350 in 1956.  This guitar used P-90s until mid-1957 when it was switched to humbuckers. Like most Gibsons in this era, examples with humbuckers are much more sought-after.
