About This Listing

Vintage Single Mono Dynaco MK IV tube amplifier, updated/improved, 1960s, USA, incomparable design, craftsmanship, attention to detail, transformer quality, sound quality and performance. It was updated/improved by a Pro Tech, all resistors, caps, etc were replaced with quality USA parts. An improved speaker connector was added for the 4,8,16 ohm connections, an updated gold plated input jack was added, a volume control was added, voltage bias test points were added, on/off switch was added, and the power supply was improved and increased with quality parts. The amp works well, sounds very nice and needs a little detailing, polishing, cleaning. The chrome chassis not oxidized or rusty, just needs polished. The cage has a small hole in the top. It was tested and had the excellent smooth, natural, transparent and involving sound that only vintage Dynaco amps can produce, very nice. The rectifier tube and input tube is included but no power tubes. This listing does not include the 2 EL34 power tubes that are needed. They are readily available and relatively inexpensive. The shipping cost includes safe packing, insurance, prompt shipping and tracking number. Buy with confidence, see my feedback. Good listening, SonnY :) The tube compliment is 1 7199, 1 5AR4, and 2 EL34/6CA7s. The EL34 power tubes are not included.
