BEST BRASS' "The Groove" series is the ultimate in next generation mouthpieces designed after studying the latest in acoustic technology. It features a backbore with a varying taper to properly distribute sound in relation to the cup, throat, and instrument.
While The Groove mouthpieces feature larger throats and are well-suited for advanced/professional level players, they were also designed with beginners in mind. They feature a moderate blow resistance to help your lips vibrate so you can play at the highest volume with the least amount of work. This decreases lip fatigue and helps expand your sound register. The design helps newer players form the correct embouchere and hit higher notes, while advances players can play with higher volume and richer sound for a longer time without tiring.
You don't see very many of these available outside of Japan!
