This is my Akai MPC 2500. I purchased it back in 2009 from the original owner who barely used it.
I’ve produced multiple albums and projects with this machine. it’s been well taken care of.
It has some wear marks on the font panel from my forearm and the screen has a few lines in it. The screen had lines in it when I bought it— it’s common and not a big deal.
This machine is maxed out at 128 Mb and uses Compact Flash Cards to save data. SanDisk works best.
If you were looking for the classic MPC sound, and feel, with more capability and an easy way to save/ load samples this is it.
This machine is my baby, I hope you love it like I did. It comes with a custom padded cover.
