1977 Music Man 212 Sixty-Five Combo Amp – Leo Fender Era – EL34 Powered

Up for sale is an original 1977 Music Man 212 Sixty-Five combo amplifier in good working condition.

After leaving Fender, Leo Fender helped launch Music Man, and the company's early amplifiers have become sought-after classics. The Sixty-Five series was used by notable players including Eric Clapton, Albert Lee, and Mark Knopfler, and offers a unique blend of American and British tonal characteristics.

This amp features Music Man's hybrid design, combining a solid-state preamp with a tube-powered EL34 output section. Unlike many comparable Fender amps of the era that relied on 6L6 tubes, the Music Man Sixty-Five uses EL34s, giving it a slightly different character while still retaining plenty of the clean headroom and sparkle associated with classic American amplifiers.
