Hawaiian Koa’s rich hues and complex tone are legendary. With this new all-Koa 700 series, Taylor’s Andy Powers has embraced Koa’s natural beauty and sonic flavors in a new and exciting way that reveals a distmusical personality compared to Taylor’s most desirable Koa Series. The new 700 Koa Series showcases more of koa’s natural character in looks, feel, and sound. Select-grade Koa boasts rich color variegation and straight grain structure. New back bracing pattern together with ultra-thin matte finish produces a livelier tone and a more direct response making this model more player-reflective. New appointments include mother-of-pearl Fountain fretboard inlays, rosewood binding, maple/rosewood top trim, Paua shell / rosewood rosette, dark stained flamed maple pick guard and Taylor polished bronze tuners. Product launch is rolling out Summer 2022. These are outstanding.
